The Sony's are similar to the Dali's in that way, but you have a bag over your head making everything muddled. The DALI IO-6 headphones offer a runtime per battery charge of up to 30 hours, while the IO-4 offers the record value of up to 60 hours.

Over the years, I've heard many high end systems where the hi hat is just gone, disappeared from the mix as if it doesn't exist, or its just way too faint that you need to really pump up the volume just to hear it - but then everything else gets unbearably loud.Today, DALI offers an exciting range of products to suit every taste, from the SPEKTOR series to the high-end EPICON speakers, and DALI EQUI, our range of wireless active speakers and sound hubs. The IO-6 may not be the best choice if you prefer a warmer sound, with no risk of ever sounding bright, but they represent an overall neutral response with just the right amount of bass and mids. And no, I'm not bashing the Sony's like many self-proclaimed audiophiles, they mainly do one thing really, really well, noise cancelling.

DALI's IO headphones are designed and engineered by the same team of engineers and according to the same basic principles as all other DALI loudspeakers. Such is the detail on offer here, minor imperfections in her voice are revealed like tiny sonic surprises – and we find ourselves wanting to hear more.

It might not make such deep and strong bass as a Sony or Beats would but if anybody’s looking at this headphone they are probably more after a well round, linear characteristic and clear representation.
