About this deal

Usually they release something to go along with a movie release so it could be a year or two before we see another Thor omnibus. Find out in Terry Moore's newest suspense thriller featuring the irrepressible Zoe from Rachel Rising! Brian is currently helming a renaissance for Marvel’s AVENGERS franchise by writing both New Avengers and Mighty Avengers along with the successful ‘event’ projects House Of M, Secret War, and this summer’s Secret Invasion.

Only difference is this time around instead of all that taking place in one issue it’s all spread out into a 7 issue intro arc. It is possible but the Ultimates Avengers omnibus didn't sell really well so that may weigh against it with Marvel. Nothing against Rel and the dates he's posted, but I believe they are off because they keep changing. I think sometimes when we really love a character or team we are a little more forgiving for their older stuff that was writte.Vor allem ist Spidey immer der menschlichste aller Superhelden gewesen, und genau das bleibt er bei Bendis glücklicher Weise auch. Unfortunately, the arc is brought down somewhat by some boring fights with the Venom suit and then with Venom himself: fights that just don't have much depth to them [4/5].

Even with the help of his best friend and confidante, Mary Jane Watson, Peter has a heavy load to bear. Entsprechend stellte sich mir als erstes die Frage, ob ich den Ultimate Spider-Man wirklich lesen wolle.

When the Peter Parker of the Ultimate Universe falls, the world needs a Spider-Man - and here comes Miles Morales! Bagley on the art really holds no complaint from me, again it’s got that early 00s vibe further ticking the boxes and just remains consistent for what would eventually be 100 issues, it’s dynamic has movement and emotion. Looking at my collection, I have more books on Venom, Carnage, Spider-Man (Octavius), heck, I even have 1 Spider-Man (Ben Reilly)(though unfortunately, I have yet to encounter a good collection of Spider-Man 2099). But the clever assassin proves to be very hard to find as Zoe follows the trail of bodies and the few clues left behind.

Mark Bagley does a decent job with the artwork, but not enough for me to strongly recommend this title to anyone who isn't a Spiderman fan. I try to keep that number in the 20s as past a certain amount it's not possible to follow every story and you end up waiting to have 4-5 issues and when you get there you might as well get the TP or the OHC. Just a tad too much repetitive teen angst (a little unavoidable in a monthly, unfortunately), and art can be a little inconsistent (although there's no doubt Bagley was working his ass off) - even Peter looks different within the same issue. Venom is a synthesized genetic suit, Kraven is a reality TV celebrity (a la Steve Irwin), and Doc Oct and Green Goblin were results in the same accident when they were trying to replicate Spidey's case on Norman Osborn. In Marvel publication news I'm hearing that the Annihilation Conquest omnibus is being delayed a week or two.The Peter here is a 15-year-old nerd high school student, already best friends with MJ, and working as a IT/Tech-support for the Daily Bugle. You see him dealing with high school romance, living with Gwen Stacy (who's a punk girl, with daddy issues), getting a job to support Aunt May, or even just simply having problems escaping school to go save the day. I already have the single issues for GoTG and I have all the HC for Avengers and New Avengers by Hickman. The artwork is terrible (so bad it's on here twice) to the point that they draw Peter Parker posing like a girl in his pants wtf! This line has spawned the graphic novels Goldfish, Fire, Jinx, Torso (with Marc Andreyko), and Total Sell Out.

Bendis likes his dialogue and will fill a page with it but he’s so damn good at it that it doesn’t feel like blabbing. This series was a career defining moment for Bagley cause it showed him drawing a familiar character but his approach and style to it was fresh and new.So, if you are talking about the current Aaron run, there will be enough material for one but we'll have to wait to see. For over eight years Bendis’s books have consistently sat in the top five best sellers on the nationwide comic and graphic novel sales charts. Shield omnibus, Guardians of the Galaxy Solo omnibus, Avengers by Perez vol 2 omnibus, Marvel Star Wars omnibus vol 3, Hickman's New Avengers and Avengers OHCs vol 2, New X-Men vol 2 OHC and I added all three Deadpool OHCs that I missed before. I know it isn't really fair to compare, but this retelling allowed them to improve on the original run on many levels. It all feels like a fun coming-of-age story for Peter, with a different perspective than what we were used to.
