You soon have your first meeting with the Gruffalo - which is the perfect opportunity for family photos.Visitors can walk through a heated enclosure as hundreds of colourful butterflies fly all around and may even land on you too. Visitors can also meet father and son duo, Itzatna Arts, on selected dates to bring to life the magic of animals and traditional Mexican culture, through immersive storytelling and a variety of traditional central and southern American games. There's a special section dedicated to huge Jamaican boa snakes as well as an aviary with great grey owls.
