At the close of 2020, the brand got independent from other MGA brands and got complemented with an audiovisual franchise of in-universe-branded web series of computer-animated shorts and episodes which were predominantly released on YouTube and later made available on Netflix. The Rainbow High Wiki is a fandom wiki dedicated to the animated series Rainbow High and the dolls produced for it, created by Michael Scott Anderson. Her parents are Rainbow High Alumni, though they have never been seen or more then slightly mentioned. Though they initially had a small falling out after enrolling in the school thanks to Violet's desire to branch out and meet new people, the two were quickly reminded of how much they cared for one another.These four dolls were later re-released the following year under the Rainbow High brand in new packaging. The second version of the outfit opens the belt to reveal an uplifted skirt, resembling an umbrella with dangling raindrop gems. While not much is known about their friendship, they did work on the Radiant Week project together so it is assumed they are friends as they both love animation.

Rainbow High is a fashion doll franchise created by Michael Scott Anderson originally as Rainbow Surprise and released by American toy company MGA Entertainment in 2020 originally as a spin-off from their Poopsie Slime Surprise brand. Sunny is a huge fan of Tiara Song, Minnie Choi and Tessa Park, shown where she started in awe as Tiara came onstage during the Rainbow Vision host-off competition. Sunny's runway outfit consists of a short yellow pleated dress with a white stringed belt, raindrop earrings, and matching yellow heels. Despite the pranks and the hijack live stream, Sunny does try to rekindle their relationship by waving at her in the Shadow High Auditorium for the host-off competition, and again during The Royal Three's performance, where she peaks out of the corner and gives her a smile.Sunny was also the first to welcome Amaya, and overall was the friendliest towards her despite the awkward situation surrounding Bella's expulsion.
