At the heart of the new design is the "The Bahlsen Family" logo: The new logo features the traditional TET character that has been retrieved and a specially developed font. This is an Italian specialty originally from Turin, consisting of two hazelnut macaroons with chocolate in between. Bahlsen introduces its new brand strategy: Two umbrella brands – BAHLSEN and LEIBNIZ – now represent the company throughout the world. The TET-packaging was the first packaging made of paper-board with the ability to keep the biscuit enduringly fresh. LEIBNIZ wants to be a reliable companion in everyday family life and wants to give families a delicious snack - with its products such as the butter biscuit - they can rely on with a clear and healthy conscience.

WHEAT flour, sugar, cocoa butter, cocoa mass, palm oil, whole MILK powder, glucose syrup, skimmed MILK powder, clarified BUTTER, salt, whey products ( MILK), raising agents: sodium carbonates, diphosphates; emulsifier: lecithins; flavourings, ground HAZELNUTS, starch ( WHEAT), acid: citric acid. At Krakuski we faithfully profess the craft of confectioners, who created original Krakuski recipe, handed down from generation to generation. Hermann Bahlsen (1927–2014), the son of Hans Bahlsen, joined the company, opening up the era of the third generation. We might remember feasting on fig rolls in front of the fire, or dunking custard creams with our grandma.
The products and branding in different countries may sometimes vary as national products, regional references and consumer habits are taken into account. The variety and high quality of the range is the result of over 130 years of craftsmanship with love for detail. They were prominent in adverts for the Cunard steam ships – the idea being that if you were sufficiently wealthy to go on a steam ship cruise you were going to be eating refined food that would require a digestive aid.
