About this deal

There's a fleeting glimpse of a young, scarcely recognisable Fiona Richmond, while Bill Shine who'd started his film career over forty years previously, is seen enjoying The Tiffany Sisters strip in a Soho dive.

Born Carol Ann Hirsch, she made her stage debut in a pantomime aged four, then went on to win a drama scholarship at the age of 16 after a performance of Twelfth Night. The original screenplay, working title 'The Loving Game', was an intelligently written 3 hander about a, impossible to live with love affair. Please do not forward additional screen captures to us but bring the detail to our attention, for we do, and are, 're-addressing' these older entries as time allows. The narrative follows smart and sassy teen Zoey Miller, a computer geek who prefers science over romantic dalliances.A virtually forgotten low budget effort, this chronicles the adventures of a bored housewife who struggles with the inattentions of her husband and the Peeping Tom who spies on her when she's getting changed. NOT TONIGHT, DARLING is a surprisingly endearing British skin flick despite the obvious shortcomings of the plot and cast. If the couple’s sex life was struggling before – a situation many other parents of young children will recognise – then the pandemic amplified it. There's heavy doses of nudity, and Vincent Ball, who we've seen in a lot of Aussie stuff, is a nasty piece of work as the blackmailer. For some people, though, sex may have increased during this period, she says, as a form of stress relief.

He drags her off to watch Thunderclap Newman rehearse at a nearby venue, giving the film an unusual dose of historical cultural interest, and then takes her into what looks like a hotel room (but apparently isn't) and talks her into getting down to business whilst traffic noisily rumbles past outside. Even if they have only been out at work, we may miss our partners; seeing them in a different context – dressed up for the office, preparing to give a presentation, going to volunteer – can spark lust. The story of an unhappy wife (Luan Peters) and her work-obsessed husband (Jason Twelvetrees) is tackled in fairly serious fashion, while also providing plenty of opportunities for Peters to disrobe, a bit like Ken Loach with tits. The film says nothing, the acting is dire, the direction non- existent, the storyline meanders, wanders, then concludes by saying "make of this what you will.
