Daughter of the Siren Queen is an action packed adventure where the author puts so much love into creating her characters that you can't help but love them yourself. And so, instead of struggling until the lack of air became too much for him, he decided he would become a partner in what was happening. She is only able to become one man's ideal type at a time, but if more than one man is attracted to the same type, it will work on them all. Ships were attacked; the crew dragged to the bottom of the ocean where they were transformed into the Ocean Crawlers using the Mermaid Gems to serve as soldiers to wage war on the land where Sirens could not reach. Will choose to fight for herself and everything she believes in or will she succumb to the part of her that is constantly fighting for dominance and will grant her the power she so desires but will endanger everything she loves?

Despite the danger, Alosa knows they will recover the treasure first… After all, she is the daughter of the Siren Queen. Her relationship with Riden is a enemies to lovers concept with plenty of tension and flirty banter. The first book introduced us to Alosa's crew and in this book we learnt much more about their history and how they came to he a part of Alosa's crew. When their pursuit of a life together continued against the warnings of the Merfolk and The Ancients, an assassination attempt was made against The Great Warrior, but failed.

I think it was somewhat needed because we did learn a lot about Alosa and other characters in the book.

The love between the Sea Queen and The Great Warrior was considered unnatural by both the Merfolk and The Ancients. She plans to work alongside her father to recover the spoils, however, things change when a giant family secret is revealed. All of the characters are a bit plain and not really developed, but the fun I had while reading it definitely helped forgetting this. I love that it wasn't love at first sight, but more of a slow burning, hate-turned-love passion that took FOREVER to become something more, but once they finally do admit their true feelings, my god!
