About this deal

The major advantage that this brings to the table is Android 11 and Google Play. It also has the power to handle all of the apps you install with the quad-core processor and 3GB of RAM. There is also plenty of storage with 32GB available and an SD card, with an additional 128GB. So on a pure hardware level, it is really solid. Underneath the hood is a ARM Cortex A55 1.8GHZ quad core processor, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There is an SD card on this device, which is capable of an additional 128GB of storage. It has Bluetooth 5.1, WIFI 2.4/5G, and has a USB-C port for transferring data and charging. There are speakers, which can be used to listen to audio content, such as audiobooks, podcasts or music. It is powered by a 3200 mAH battery, which should provide a few weeks of usage. The Meebook is running Google Android 11, which is excellent. It will support all big name apps for years to come. It also has Google Play preinstalled, so you don’t need to manually activate it like you do Onyx devices. There are dozens of different languages including English. So international users will find a ton of value. It also has the same UI and menu system as all of the other modern Boyue products, such as the P6, P78, and P10.

There is a front-lit display and color temperature system on the P78 PRO. There are around 24 white and amber LED lights. This system is useful for reading digital content in lowlight environments. There are two slider bars that control the luminosity from the toolbar, there is also an auto feature to control the brightness via the time of day. The Meebook also has software controls to automatically control the brightness of the screen by sliding your finger alongside the left side of the screen. The device has a 6-inch E Ink screen with 300 ppi, and it appears to have a flush front layer. It has a quad-core 1.8GHz CPU, it supports dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0, it has a USB-C port with support for OTG, and it has a 2200mAh battery. Audiobooks and podcasts make this a very good choice. You can listen through the two speakers, which have middling quality. They certainly aren’t up to the level of the iPad or other flagship smartphones, but they are good for E INK screens. Using the default music player the Meebook supports MP3, OGG and WMA. This app relies on you having to sideload in audio content. Of course, with Google Play, the world is your oyster. I recommend Audible for audiobooks or Overdrive Libby for audiobooks from your local library. Spotify is solid for music and podcasts, although you need a subscription for the most value. The Meebook P10 Pro is a budget 10.3" Android-based E-ink tablet. It's pretty good for reading and okay for writing, but there is virtually no customer support. We have not yet reviewed the Meebook P10 Pro, however, we refer you to our review of the Meebook P78 Pro, which uses identical software (and has almost the same hardware). One of the things I like about the UI/software is the new file manager. If you sideload things onto the root directly, it will break everything down. It will show you how many EPUB ebooks you have, and group them, showing a numerical value. Ditto with txt files, PDFS, Mobis, DOCX, ZIP, APKS and Pictures. I have never seen a file system like this on an e-reader before. Meebook might not be a household name, although I fondly remember Boyue. I liked some of their products from 3-4 years ago; the Likebook Mars and Alita were like nothing else on the market then, with powerful hardware and a great software experience. Meebook is continuing this trend. However, their product line could be clearer at times. They had the P10, P10 Pro, P10W and now the P10 Pro Edition. Each of these models brought something unique to the table; the P10W was a limited edition model with a WACOM screen, but they only had a few hundred of them. The others lasted around six months and were discontinued and no longer sold. The P10 differs from the P78 in that it has a 10.3″ (A5-sized) screen rather than a 7.8″ (A6-sized) screen. However, the increase in screen size does result in a decrease in resolution and screen density.

Meebook P10 Pro Android eReader Review: Freedom to Read - MUO

Excellent e-reader capabilities, making it an ideal device for reading. It offers versatility and performs well as a reader. One of the things I like about the UI/software is the new file manager. If you sideload things onto the root directly, it will break everything down. It will show you how many EPUB ebooks you have, and group them, showing a numerical value. Ditto with txt files, PDFS, Mobis, DOCX, ZIP, APKS, Pictures, and virtually every ebook format the device supports. Now, let’s explore the positives of the Quirk Logic Papyr that make it an appealing device for many users. Despite the mentioned cons, the device offers several notable advantages: In addition, the Meebook P10 Pro has more storage capacity (64Gb rather than 32Gb) and a larger battery. The Mebook P78 Pro provides a ton of value. It doesn’t excel at any one thing, but does a bunch of things in a satisfactory way. Reading comics, books and manga is fluid and responsive. Writing on PDF files is passable, but not excellent. Drawing, taking notes or just doodling is OK, but you will get a better experience with other competing products such as the Nova Air, or Supernote A6X. Video and audio is on board and although neither of them are tremendously high quality, it can do them both adequately

There is a ton of storage for your digital collection, since it has 32GB of storage, but also supports up to 128GB of extra space via the SD card. This will ensure your entire personal collection of PDF files, books, manga, audiobooks can all be there, when you need them. The file system automatically puts everything into nice little folders, so management is a breeze. The Likebook P10 Pro is running Google Android 11 out of the box. This gives you full access to Google Play, without the need to install anything extra. You can basically get going right away by attaching your Google Account in the settings menu and login to Google. You can access all of the paid apps that you have made on your smartphone or tablet, as well as a wide selection of content. There are very well e-notes in the world that have Google Play available, the only other brands that have support for it is Dasung and Onyx Boox.
