Recent copies might be pressed by MPO, just like mine: https://www.discogs.com/release/15174524 I do not find this record to be 'thin' per other comment, but my system has a sub and there's a decent amount of thump coming in under 80hz . One should keep in mind this was originally recorded on digital, so it will not have the same warmth as previous Dire Straits albums. Moreover, like some Van Halen, Journey, etc. releases I've experienced, the sound gets better and better as you crank the volume. Try it and see if thats the case for you.
