About this deal

After moving to the field of civil rights, in 2010 he took on a racial abuse case representing a factory worker. This case resulted in a landmark damages ruling, and it made Steve Cavanagh quite famous all over again. This book follows an author writing under the pen name J.T Lebeau, no one knows who he or she is, not even their publisher. Their acclaimed fiction books have many queueing outside bookshops (think Pottermania scale in the early 2000s). Everyone loves J.T. Lebeau and we can see why. No time to catch your breath Bit of a rollercoaster with some insane characters and a terrific finale. Clever and hugely addictive. Outstanding. Totally absorbing and compelling. A masterpiece in thriller plotting– twists and turns at a ferocious pace, leading to a nail-biting conclusion.’ Mel Sherrat

Kill For Me Kill For You: The twisting new thriller from the

There are three main characters, again I’m not saying too much, but none of them come out of this book covered in glory and I have to say I didn’t warm to any of them. Just how is an attempted murder, a lover, a famous writer and a missing husband connected? and the big question is ‘who is J.T LeBeau’, and do you really want to know the answer to the question? I recently gave a Kindle to my daughter, she was never one to read…..now she is an avid reader and reading Steve C and racing through books, but like me she now finds it difficult to ‘get into’ other writers. More please Steve. Of course the Irish have a history of great writers. Kudos, Mr. Cavanagh, for another winning book. I hope to gather some more interest in your work, for other readers to discover and add them to their respective tottering To Be Read piles.Despite Maria and her lover being extremely self-centred unlikable characters, they are so well written that they do not come off as stereotypes. In fact, all of the characters may be highlighted by their one primary characteristic (the stoic Detective, the old-timer Captain, the spoilt wife, etc) but they are so well developed that you can see them as real people. Eddie Flynn used to be a con artist. Then he became a lawyer. Turns out the two aren't that different.

Twisted by Steve Cavanagh is his first standalone novel; this one isn’t about a lawyer but a writer. I trust it isn’t too closely modelled on his day-to-day existence. In 2018, Steve Cavanagh won the Golden Dagger Best Book Awards, The Liar. The award is given by the Crime Writer’s Association to the best crime novel of the year. Praise for Steve CavanaghIf this is the first book you have read by Steve Cavanagh and you weren't raving about it then my recommendation is to try a book from the Eddie Flynn series. They are amazing thrillers. If you loved this one then you are in for a real treat because his other books are even better. This is when I came across the Eddie Flynn series, a legal thriller series that is equally well-written. Now Mr. Cavanagh is an author I follow for any new books he writes. The book I have loved so far this year is ‘Twisted’ by Steve Cavanagh, published by Orion on the 24th January 2019.
