About this deal

Send a private to look of "soft spots" on an armoured vehicle by tapping it with a ball pein hammer (a hardened hammer). This results in a vehicle covered in lots of dents, all marked with chalk. Also done in the car trade. Note: use a vehicle which has already been designated as scrap! Although bowling alleys are typically designed to favor right-handers, lefties have their advantages too. For example, lefties can play the same line throughout the game, but righties will have to keep making adjustments. And you know, in bowling, the less you move around the line, the more consistent you get. Jim: slightly messier version: Freeze a couple of cans of shaving cream in liquid Nitrogen for a few minutes, then carefully remove the can from the frozen contents with tin snips etc. Place cylinder of solid cream for best effect and just wait for the temp to come up. Really impressive how much stuff fits in that little can. The 3rd position I use covers frets 5-9 using index-pinky fingers, and skipping fret 6 (similar to "position A" for "Brushy Fork of John's Creek" but moved up 2 frets).

I know left handed people struggle a lot with all manner of implements, everything from scissors and can openers, to musical instruments, riffles, computers … almost anything I can think of. So perhaps woodworking could traditionally have been one of the most well catered for activities for left handed folk? There are very few hand tools, bar joinery planes which have any bias at all. Besides, the lane’s left side is rarely used, which helps to preserve the oil here. And newer oil means faster speed, better spin, and accurate direction for the ball as it heads toward the pins. And here’s something else to give you a leg-up over your right-handed opponents: a left-hander’s bowling ball.Another favourite was to tell some naive apprentice that the small metal files were called peedo-files and send them off to stores "can I have a paedophile please?" Those would include rifles with the bolt handle or ejection ports on the left side. There are even 1911 pistols set up in mirror images of traditional ones. Several denizens of sci.military. naval pointed out the fun to be had in getting inexperienced staff to make the following shipboard announcements ("pipes"): Go into Betsy Ross's room and use the tentacle chart with pattern. This American flag will be change by tentacle flag.

Revolvers are already the first option for left-handed shooters because they give you the convenience of NOT spewing hot brass in your face. Well, here’s a one-up for you. In oil fields in the US and internationally, new hires may be told to get the "keys to the v-door". The v-door is a steel ramp, not a door. [25] The 2nd position I use covers frets 2-5 using index-pinky fingers without skipping any frets (same as "position B" for "Brushy Fork of John's Creek") Electricians commonly send the "new guy" to the toolroom to fetch a "cable stretcher" [18] [19] or a "cordless wire"/"wireless cable". In terms of bullpup rifles, don’t get me started… unless the ejection port is moveable to the other side, those are out for most of us wrong handers. Hot brass zipping past your face or arm is not my idea of a good time. Bullpups…not fun for lefties. Day 2 for same target: Glue a cardboard circle about 1/2 inch below rim of cup (false bottom). Cover circle with glue and cover with chad/LRPCs. Put on desk. Target will cuss (of course) while trying to edge the cup off the desk without spilling anything thru the assumed hole (yesterday's lesson of punched out bottom). Nothing falls out. Target usually tips cup, and nothing falls out. Target tosses cup with more 'colorful metaphors.' Other common restaurant practical jokes include sending the new employee to another restaurant to borrow the "bacon stretcher", " lobster food", "lobster gun", " souffle pump", left-handed tongs, "oven key", left-handed broom, or "can of steam". [14] [15] An alternative prank is to instruct the new employee to empty a coffee machine or hot water tower of its water (the machine being connected to a water line and thus never able to be emptied). [ citation needed] Before I start throwing photos of guns at you, we need to define a left-handed gun. The way I see it that could include two families of firearms.

Experience the cowboy’s swinging cylinder of the snub-nosed Southpaw with a DA/SA trigger, hot .38 Special caliber rounds, and highly durable stainless steel and aluminum alloy construction. It’s also +P-rated, so you can shoot those high-pressure bullets if you like. As the name suggests, Charter Arms specifically designed the Southpaw with the Undercover Lite model blueprint in mind, only it’s a reverse-engineered model—the cylinder opens to the right! Leftie revolvers are a thing. You have the Charter Arms Southpaw that finally gives left-handed folk some joy in using revolvers with right-side swinging cylinders. The overall design, construction, weight, and size are very important for your purposes, whether self-defense, CCW, home defense, or just plain fun at the ranges. I did see the Kel-Tec RDB reference in another post. Even that's what I'd call "Ambi" &, while "down" is better than "right", I'll be even more excited to learn about a 9mm pistol that "tosses left". Stag's 15L has a left side ejection port, so there's no question it CAN be done. I just haven't seen it yet in a 9mm pistol.

Left Handed Shotguns

Money changing for Gibraltar - "If you're going ashore you better go and cash a cheque for your Giblets" (naval) New students at certain posh British colleges were urged very seriously to leave a urine sample outside the Principal's Office on arrival. No containers were provided, resulting in a surreal element to this prank/errand.
