About this deal

And the appearance of characters from her former novels and seeing how their relationships and lives are going made me so happy and love this book even more!! I’m a romantic and can’t help fantasizing that he’ll change, but soon enough, I find myself questioning if sharing a roof with my best friend’s brother was the right move after all Maybe it’s acts of service. That could be your love language. Every morning you make sure my coffee is cold, so it doesn’t get watered down when I add ice. I’ve always noticed that. Ryan Shay- I won't say he was a perfect book boyfriend but he was good enough to keep me interested. I loved how he took care of Indy, and noticed her little quirks. The fact he learned sign language cause of Indy and her parents was really sweet. Loved how he talked about her books obsession with her and always heard her out. I liked how open he was about vulnerabilities. You have no idea, Indy.” Another worshiping kiss on my covered stomach. “The power you have over me.”

This was one of my most anticipated reads as Liz is a go-to author for me, but this one just didn't hit like I wanted or thought it would. This had so much potential, but there were just some moments that I couldn't agree with. Those moments are what made me give this a lower rating than what I wanted. I, however, still enjoyed it mostly. I just wanted and expected more. Full princess treatment: carrying her to the car, opening car doors, brushing and braiding hair, making breakfast for her. get you a man who learns ASL like ryan just so he can talk to her dad because according to him her family=his family🥺 kai is having a very tough time adjusting to life as a single dad while managing a professional baseball career. but his coach, monty, won’t let him waste his potential and retire so he does everything he can to accommodate max. when kai’s most recent nanny doesn’t work out, monty commissions his daughter, a gourmet pastry chef on sabbatical, to fill in for the summer.

The way he showed her over and over again with small subtle gestures how he cares and loves her without admitting it. And who is this?” Kai’s eyes linger on the woman at my side… in a you’re one of the most beautiful women I’ve had the pleasure to lay eyes on way. liz’s spice is ALWAYS hot and you will be dying for these two to finally give in and when they do!!!! I related so much with Indy about her people pleasing habits and some other things (most things actually except her love for hosting and being such an extrovert), so maybe that made this book stand out even more to me.

Because with Miller Montgomery, my coach's daughter, standing in my kitchen looking like that, I'm afraid something very dangerous has already gotten in." Caught Up is the third book in the Windy City series. It is a single dad/nanny, he falls first and harder, forced proximity, found family baseball sports romance with banter that had me laughing, tension, and moments of tears from sadness and happiness both. The little attentions, the awareness of every single shifts in the mood, learning about each other and building a tight friendship based on trust and a mutual respect and being reconnaissent and grateful for earning it just put the growing romance to an other level.😭

indy my precious book girlie, you deserve the whole world and nothing less. i love that she is a fun loving girl full of life but also emotional and feels everything on a deep level, but she would cry way too much lmao. but my heart broke for her because of her shitty ex bf and her shitty “friends” but i just love how ryan, stevie, zanders and rio showed her the importance of true friendship. her love for romance books and escaping reality was so relatable lmao. indy had depth and she has the biggest heart and that was what truly made me love her character sm. i loved her acts of bringing ryan out of his shell and living life how he should since he was so sheltered was everything to me she made him trust and feel again!! she deserved to be loved and im so glad ryan was the one to show her how a relationship was supposed to be. What sets this book apart from other sports romances is how relatable the author made the characters. The characters Logan and Eli have both gone through so much, but more so Logan. The mental health, grief, loss and internal growth Logan went through was written in a way that I found myself relating to it. That is one thing I have to have with a book, relatability because it makes it more real. This book had me laughing until I was out of breath and tears were streaming down my face( so not a pretty sight), and then crying until it felt like my heart was splitting in half. It definitely gets in your feels Ryan Shay has learned the hard way that being a basketball superstar comes with a lot of sacrifices. Everyone wants something from him, so every new person he meets is a potential farce. No one-night stands, no friends, no partying and definitely not flatmates. But his twin sister is his achilles heel, so he ends up being set with the messiest, kindest girl. He only needs a glance to understand Indy is about to put his well-thought plans outside down. Miller + Kai + Max = everything. The romance between the couple is perfect, the relationship between Kai and his son was the most beautiful and heartwarming, and don’t even get me started on the bond that Miller develops with Max. It’s the best thing ever. When Max finally gets her name out, and instead of Miller its Mama he’s trying to say… I bawled honestly this is everything I want in a romance. I’ll take no criticism with this book it’s as close to perfect as they come.Basketball aside, Ryan Shay’s wildest dreams align with Indy’s, but he is determined to leave the dating for when he retires, when meeting a girl who loves him for who he is will be safer. Everything in his life is well-planed, controlled and very lonely. I understood Ryan. Trusting people is difficult enough for average people like me, I would also disappear from the face of the earth if I were him. ever since i read mile high I have been dying patiently waiting for ryanindys book to release and now that i finished all i want to do is read it all over again
