If you’re prioritising fitness features, going with Fitbit is well worth it, especially as these models are more affordable than a lot of the other smartwatches on the market and deliver more battery life.
If you want a WearOS smartwatch with long battery life, the Android-only TicWatch Pro 5 is worth a look. It offers a similar feature set as the Google Pixel Watch 2 in a more durable build with about three times the battery life. Despite having twice as much battery capacity as the GTS (440 mAh compared to 220mAH) and a stated 24 days battery life, in reality, we found it to be very similar to the GTS at around 14 days. There are a few exceptions, including the Mobvoi TicWatch Pro 5 and the Apple Watch Ultra 2, which offer multi-day battery life. In general, you get much better battery life with a Fitbit or Garmin watch. They typically last around six days on a single charge. The former sees Google ditch the dated Exynos chip from the original Pixel Watch in favor of Qualcomm's impressive Snapdragon W5+ chip, and this move not only allows for that improved battery efficiency, but also powers the new features available through Wear OS 4. Indeed, there's now incredible competition in this area, but this is a smartwatch that covers the basics about as well as any of them and also doesn't look too bad when doing so.

Purchasing a timepiece that promised to inform you about your health conditions and not delivering the correct data is really upsetting. We know you don’t want to get your hands on something like that. Samsung didn't reinvent the wheel with its latest flagship smartwatch, but it didn't have to. This newest version features a bigger, brighter 2,000-nit display, at the expense of some battery life, with the same sleek design as its predecessor.
