Most of the science that is in place is basic safety testing, uses animal models and doesn’t actually evaluate efficacy in human skin tissue directly. Some of these metrics are more responsive to a given intervention than others. So it is important to know which of these metrics to pay attention to when you’re self-experimenting. The hardest one, I would say, is trying to manage stress. Running a company is sometimes very challenging.
