Lilly was pregnant in the second book but it wasn’t mentioned hardly at all in this book except when she was rescued from her kidnapper and when she actually had said baby (this is why I hate the pregnancy trope). this being the thing said to her after the first 10 mins of knowing this guy she still goes and sleeps in his bed Okay also, Ryan coming out of left field and being a mercenary was not expected but not impactful. He had maybe one other scene with Lilly and that was to tell her he approved of the boys.

Since the moment I finished Captured I have been waiting for this book and let me tell ya, it did not disappoint!! And hot dayyyuuumm! Let me just say that the spice and steam in this book was off the charts! 🔥🥵🔥 I don’t think there was a single chapter where someone wasn’t getting it on! So I knew this book wasn't Gonna be the best, but I read it anyway because I just needed something to fill the time, so yeah. Y'all seeing this more theme here right?! We also get more steam, more action, more mystery and more surprises. I know this review is actually kinda vauge (and has the word more in it an awful lot!) but I honestly don't want to spoil it.Her relationship with the boys gets more intense, and it is clear that they would do anything for her, which is everything that I could ask for in a book. She discovers that she is pregnant with Loki`s baby as he was the only one who had her without any protection, and all of them become even more protective over her. But fate, relentless and unforgiving, orchestrated a night that shattered my world once more, forcing me to question the loyalty of my dark knights as their haunting secrets came to light.

Rosa Lee is a new author to me and this is her debut novel. Captured begins with our female main character Lilly Darling who transfers to Highgate Prep after the tragic death of her mother. Along with having to cope with her mothers death she also has a mysterious new uncle she has never met before AND moving to another country! I also never thought i would say this- but there is such thing as too much sex? Maybe the focus being on that is why there was so many glaring issues in the story? Overall, I feel like if the writing was better, if the main girl was more likeable and had better fashion sense (oh my, her outfit choices are extremely questionable.) if there weren’t so many cringe worthy moments, and if the plot was easier to follow, then perhaps I would’ve given a better review. We've belonged to each other since the moment of our conception, Lilly Darling. And we are never letting you go." (Kai) The guys - oh these guys. They all have my heart as the darkness that their parents have woven around them threaten to drown them all. Only the light of Lilly’s love saves them as the twists and turns take a darker edge. I love how each of them didn’t break, they only become stronger and more cunning.

We have our lethal man Jax, with a lethal monster appendage 🙈 and muscles to match. Our resident hot head with LITERAL touch her and die vibes and last but not least sweet and quiet Kai, with so trauma behind his eyes but is a complete Dom in the bedroom and don’t get me started on his 🍆 piercings 👀 or any of the others 🍆 piercings🫣 All around it was a fine, spicy read, but I definitely hit a point where I was skimming sex scenes and sighing everytime I found an inconsistency. except she refers to people she doesn't like as cumstais/ jizzstains all in all this girl has a bad obsession with cum and calls everyone else a slut for doing things she does with FOUR guys. 😭 The amount of times she “gushed” over something turning her on.. hun if you’re gushing that much you NEED TO GO TO A DOCTOR!!!

Then, we have Kai... the nerdy type with the dark glasses. He's shy and blushes over just about everything. That is, until you get him dominating the scene. Wow.. talk about HOT! The weird amount of details in her outfits made it feel like a Y/N wattpad fanfic where they show pictures of the outfits before the story?? And the amount of music that was referenced was like?? I dunno. Just overall not a vibe. Loki, Jax, Kai, and Ash—four mesmerising, damaged, and captivating young men. Each possesses a wealth as vast as Midas, yet their scars run deep, seemingly irreparable.We get answers about the boys pasts and how they came to be at the mercy of their parents, but at the same time more questions. I loved watching the characters grow throughout the series and seeing the relationships evolve. Lilly's internal (sometimes external) thoughts were hilarious and some of my favourite things to read in these books. You were my light when there was only darkness, Sweetheart. You showed me that there was something to hope for, that I could be loved. You are my soul, my heart, and my light." (Kai) Diving into this, I knew it was gonna be somewhat mysterious but I didn't think I would have as many questions as I do while already making plans to dive into the next book in this series - the cliffhanger in this one is a killer! the put child pornography in the pcs of others to frame them for stuff ( where they get this child pornography from idk)

Guess how many smut scenes there are this time.... 18. Yup. 18 smut scenes. Ranging from DP, DVP, BJs, her pleasure through mouth and fingers, knife and blood play, whipping, flogging, etc. Oooh, almost forgot. There's an MMF scene!! And it has Dom/sub play!! Yet appearances can be deceiving, and even knights must submit to tyrant kings. It turns out that the grass is not always greener on the other side—it too is stained with crimson. And none of us can claim innocence.Highgate Prep is an American boarding school for the rich and elite of American society and unfortunately Lilly finds herself having to share a room .... with four smoking hot and sexy guys!
