If your Film has been Screened Privately, or at other Film Festivals, or Released Theatrically outside of Canada, that is fine, as long as it is not Available on the Internet, has been Broadcast on Canadian Television, or as long as it is not Available on Bluray, DVD, Pay Per View, etc... In other words, if your Film is AVAILABLE to Audiences in Canada it is NOT Eligible to be Screened at the FESTIVAL OF FEAR. Since there are so many possible matchups, it may be hard to know when you’ve seen every horror video game in this Face-Off. Some strategies are just playing until you’ve voted for your favorites or against those you think aren’t worthy. You and the rest of IGN’s audience have the power to choose the victor, so make every vote count! Which Horror Video Games Have You Included?

The Festival Of Fear is Galey Farms signature event for the year! The festival has four main features which offers Halloween fun for all ages.We will accept films completed, on or after January 1st, 2018. If your film has been released publicly on the Internet (This includes, Youtube, Vimeo, or released anywhere on the internet, etc) Your Film will be Disqualified if it is Available to watch Publicly Online. A place where old friends, as well as many new characters, lurk in a terrifying museum. Lovingly cast in wax for all eternity, terrifying grimaces peer from every corner. To get away safely, you’ll need a keen instinct, or the merciless truth behind the masks may be revealed. The FESTIVAL OF FEAR & PRINCESS THEATRE do not assume any liability for damage to DCP's or Blurays due to improper containers. And last but not least... The much scarier 6000 square foot Carnevil Haunted House for adults - opens Oct 13th and runs nightly 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm through to Halloween night. I hold the FESTIVAL OF FEAR harmless from any damage to Blurays/DCP's en route or otherwise during the course of the Festival’s possession of the film.

All entries into the FESTIVAL OF FEAR International Film Festival, give the FESTIVAL OF FEAR the right to use any footage, or stills, from the Preview Screener and/or Movie Trailer, and all submitted publicity photos and any other materials sent to us pertaining to your Entry to use for promotional purposes, without limitations. That we’ve been diminished in some way by swapping the rituals of small community for the rituals of global capitalism feels true, but since rural utopias always turn rotten in folk horror, they do not hold the solution to a better way of living. Rather it’s through the experience of seeing them unmasked that we’re awakened to the struggle we’re embroiled in here and now. Individuals in folk horror are shown to be so weak against much bigger forces – religious, political or preternatural – that they run the risk of being crushed entirely. Or else they become the force, which is perhaps the greatest horror of all.
