Time of year – many cats find changes to their routine upsetting, so may get stressed if you have lots of visitors over Christmas, or if there are lots of scary bangs at fireworks time. There are many medical reasons your cat might have itchy skin. This can range from simple infectious things like ringworm that can be easily treated to more complex causes. It can also include trauma if your cat gets in a fight with another feline, through to sun damage and inconsistencies with the way your cat’s skin forms. Lots of washing can even be a sign that your cat is in pain, so if the itching doesn’t seem to be covered by pest, environmental, psychological or dietary factors, it’s best to talk to your vet. If your dog needs more than one tablet a day, we recommend splitting the tablets throughout the course of the day e.g. half the amount AM and half the amount PM. They can be crushed and mixed with food if required. If your dog is on one chew a day, you can give them either AM or PM. Helping your cat groom – brush them regularly to remove dirt and matting from their fur. If possible, take them to a cat groomer who can help keep things in tip-top condition. We make YuMOVE Cat with fussy felines in mind, therefore it’s really tasty. If your cat does notice it has been added and is extra fussy, we recommend to very gradually introduce it to their food until they get used to it. Cats are fastidious groomers, so we know something’s not quite right when they let themselves look a bit bedraggled. Stiff joints might mean your cat can’t raise their foot to scratch or bend round as easily to reach all the parts of their body they want to keep clean. You can help by: Simply twist the capsules and sprinkle the contents onto their food daily. For an average 4-5kg cat, use 1 capsule per day.
