Useful for waterside repairs to tears in neoprene and for replacing gaskets on wet suits and dry suits that may need future removal or replacement. Use Aquasure® to repair felt soles. To repair peeling felt soles, clean and dry peeling area. Apply Aquasure® in gap and close. Can also be used to attach new felt soles. Use tape to hold repaired area closed overnight. Remove tape when fully cured. Bivvie and Umbrella Repair

For bivvie or umberella repairs, apply a patch over tear or hole on outside. Apply Aqusure® to tear on inside and 5 mm beyond the tear. For instant in field bivvie or umberella repairs use Aquasure® Instant Repair Kit (contains 7 g Aquasure® and 3x McNett Tenacious Tape™ patches). Apply one patch over tear or hole on outside. Apply Aqusure® to tear on inside and 5 mm beyond the tear. Cover with another patch. Bivvie or umberella can be used immediately. Patches can be removed in 2-3 days. Note: For silicone-treated tent and tarp fabrics, such as Silnylon, use SilNet™ Silicone Seam Sealer and Sil Fix™ Adhesive (More info about silicone treatments here: https://mcnett.zendesk.com/entries/26550173-Silicone-Silnylon-and-Silicone-Treated-Tents-and-Fabrics). We give an un-opened tube of adhesive a two-year shelf life. The „batch-number“ will be crimped into the bottom of the tube. The adhesive is typically good for two years past the date of filling. If a small section has peeled use Seam Grip to re-attach it (fig. 5). If the tape seems to be failing everywhere, remove and discard it, then clean the seams with Cotol-240™plus or isopropyl alcohol and re-seal with Seam Grip. Seam Grip can be diluted with Cotol-240 plus or Xylene. Mixing with Xylene will only dilute the adhesive. Xylene will not provide a faster cure time.

You can color Seam Grip using Ceramic pigment found at most craft stores. Just mix it directly into the Seam Grip. Turn waders inside out and examine seams and fabric for gaps. Apply Aquasure® directly to the seam, extending over seam and on to fabric by 6 mm.
