LG's Ultrabook is light in the hands but hasn't trimmed down on any of the quality you'd expect to find in the Gram family of laptops. It's impressive performance is spearheaded by a powerful 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, fueled further by 16GB of RAM, 1TB of SSD storage, and Intel Iris Xe graphics. Our benchmark testing took LG's device to the limits and it wowed us with its solid multitasking and overall performance. Performance that even let it to rival even the ever-impressive MacBook Air M2.

For MacBooks and premium Windows 10 laptops, a runtime of over 9 hours is considered a good result whereas gaming laptops and workstations that can stay powered for longer than 5 hours deserve praise. If you have to share a display with a coworker or family member, consider a model with an ergonomic stand that lets you position the screen for your most comfortable viewing angle. A fully adjustable stand offers tilt, swivel, and height adjustments, and lets you pivot or rotate the screen between landscape and portrait (horizontal and vertical) orientation. If you tend to attach and detach USB devices often, look for a monitor with built-in USB ports. The best ultrawide monitors offer unique aspect ratios and resolutions with broad horizontal pixel counts, but less focus on the vertical dimension. Popular aspect ratios include 21:9 and 32:9, but you’ll find all kinds of shapes and sizes when you browse through these types of displays. These aspect ratios translate to some exotic-looking resolutions, such as 2,560 x 1,080, 3,440 x 1,440, or 3,840 x 1600. The 49-inch display size, 5,120 x 1,440 resolution, and 32:9 aspect ratio may sound absolutely ridiculous on paper, but after seeing it in person,we're convinced. With its impressively wide display and vibrant colors combined with its 1800Rcurvature, it's a dream and absolutely immersive to game on.
Adaptive sync aligns the refresh rate of the monitor with the frame-rate output of the video card on the fly, drawing a frame only when a full one is delivered rather than at a fixed rate. Though it's not essential for gamers who mostly play single-player, slow-paced titles, adaptive sync is great for anyone daring to take his or her skills into the online multiplayer arena in serious competition. The Lenovo ThinkVision M14d doesn't have the range of controls of some other portable displays, and its 14-inch screen isn't the largest among portable monitors. But it's bright, features high color fidelity, can be tilted to a wide range of angles, and is very light and easy to transport. Its color accuracy (96% of sRGB) is much better than that of most portable panels we have reviewed. The screen cabinet rests on a hinged base on which the ports and controls reside, and you can tilt the screen away from you at any angle you desire, down to flat. Connectors include two USB-C ports, including one that supports USB Power Delivery as well as DisplayPort over USB-C. And it has a 16:10 aspect ratio to match the squarer screens of late-model laptops. (Lenovo's ThinkVision m14, without the "d," adheres to a wider 16:9 format.) Who It’s For Direct LED display The diodes are placed directly behind the LCD screen. This gives it a good contrast ratio. To run a display at 4K resolution, you’ll need to use HDMI 1.4 at the very least, though HDMI 2.0 would be required if you want to support a refresh rate of 60Hz, which should be a bare minimum unless all you do is watch movies on it. If you want to do high refresh rate gaming, especially at higher resolutions, DisplayPort 1.4 monitors can handle up to 8K at 60Hz and 4K at up to 200Hz, so they’re better-suited than HDMI in that regard. DisplayPort 2.1 is also already here, although it’s virtually unavailable as far as monitors go just yet. Desktop computer monitors generally fall between 19 and 43 inches measured diagonally, although users with extra-large desks can choose among ultrawide displays in sizes up to 49 inches. Some displays are smaller than 19 inches; they're either specialty panels (such as those intended for use with a Raspberry Pi)or USB-connected portable displaysmeant to be carried alongside laptops.
