Higher skilled players will still LA weave, will still have higher dps and will still require LA weaving in their groups / progs. The 'raising the floor / lowering the ceiling' approach won't be enough to help the casual players complete the more difficult content. Bad players will still be bad players unless they practice, just like anything in life. Why should the game just hand everything out to everyone? That would make it extremely boring. Overland content and most dungeons are already a joke. This changing perspective though has finally become a motivating factor to question once more the traditional constraints about what techniques are appropriate for tapestry.
