About this deal

The two of them are coming in H O T, but also realizing from the first minute that this is not just a one time thing. Nissa Lang knows Desmond Stilling is out of her league. He’s a CEO, she’s a teacher. He’s gorgeous, she’s…not. So when her house-sitting gig falls through and Desmond offers her a place to stay for the summer, she vows not to reveal how she’s felt about him since their first–and only–kiss. Zach's maturity and emotional depth actually pleasantly surprised me in this one as well. I was really ready to read how Zach's relationship issues with his parents and his hard childhood meant he would never be good enough for Izzy and he could never fall in love as this is the exact formula I've seen with similar male leads in other books but no, Zach was all in for Izzy and ready to love her and I loved it. Loved the overlapping with Izzy’s book, it gives a much more in-depth view of why/how things happened I loved Meghan....she's funny and witty and has a kind and loving heart. It was mesmerizing to see the woman beneath the jokes...the woman she showed Sebastian. I loved Sebastian even when he was being an idiot. Their chemistry was off the charts hot and I adored that they seemed to be best friends before they were lovers and it made their fall into love meaningful.

Going into this series, I had extremely high expectations. Though I haven’t seen much talk about this series, my friend had raved about it so I knew it HAD to be brilliant. Very early into the first book I was sure this book was going to exceed my expectations!

Mr. Sin is the debut in the Sin series. Sasha is in Vegas on a work trip and, while relaxing one night, decides to go to a bar. She hasn’t been with anyone for some time and feels this might be her chance to sin. At the bar, a particular man tries grabbing her becoming more insistent, and this is where Vincent comes in. Vincent saves her from this man, who later takes her to his room for an intense one-night stand. Sebastian took his head out of his ass around 87% of the book. But the last 13% will never be enough for me to rate this higher than 2 stars. In all honesty, I didn't give a crap anymore as to what will happen to the two of them. I'm beyond frustrated with them and they were unlikeable and annoying characters. His voice also comes across robotic. As I’m reading, I can hear the monotone in my head, and that just doesn’t work for me.

The structure of this book is weird in that the start and end of chapters seems to have nothing to do with time frame? They seemed designed so every chapter ends on a snappy saying or a pretend ‘what will happen?’ rather than then we are moving someplace else in time and space, but there isn’t any consistency so it ends up being more difficult to follow because of it. Now I’m very excited to dive into the final book of the series, Sleet Banshee, which will follow my favorite vixen, Meghan! We get some glimpses of what her story might be throughout this book and in the epilogue…and I have a feeling this one will be my favorite of the trilogy! Ever since I met Isabelle Thorpe, I wanted her to love me. If I could have nothing else in this world, I wanted to have her heart."They met again 4 months ago in Zach's birthday party (book 2) he accosted her and kissed her. Which she slapped him twice for. Then he took her number but didn't call/text her because he can't stop thinking about her. A week has passed this time since the birthday party, totally lame and pathetic excuse 🙄
