The reason for this delay is because it is acting as if you are unplugging the device. When it’s on, the keyboard is recognized as a controller. When turning off, the keyboard gets recognized as a keyboard. Most of the time, there is no reason to turn on/off and you should access keyboard functionality via M1. A:There may be a slight delay in keyboard functionality upon using the hard on/off button located on the top right of the keyboard. This delay will vary depending on the user’s OS (ex. WIN 7 will need around 5-10 seconds to switch).
Manufacturers can make whatever claims they like about the comfort or usability of their mouse/keyboard combos, but first-hand testing like we've done here is the only way to know for sure if a combo is worth what you're paying for it. That said, there are some basics worth keeping in mind. Wired vs. WirelessA:You should only use this button if you want the keyboard to be recognized as a keyboard and not controller in Windows. Usually there is no reason to do this. If you’re looking to only type, use M1 instead to access keyboard functions. To that end, a wireless combo can make a lot of sense if you value tidiness. It can also be a good choice if you need a keyboard/mouse set for multiple workstations. A good set makes it easy enough to pop the dongle or re-pair with any laptop or PC you use. Compatibility
The pros and cons of wired and wireless setups are simple, but worth going over. Mouse/keyboard combos provide a wireless experience either with Bluetooth connectivity or via a wireless dongle that plugs into a USB port. Wired hardware needs to be plugged directly into the laptop or PC directly, which will also take up a USB port. Another issue: we didn’t note issues with the rechargeable battery, but other reviewers have found that their battery life falls far short of the advertised 10 days.
