About this deal

Magic Eraser, Real Tone, and Face Unblur are a few of the new camera features that the Tensor SoC makes possible. Except for Real Tone, which uses inclusive color science for more accurate representations of BIPOC people, none will fix a photo that's seriously messed up. You can select Action Pan which focuses on the moving object, like my car photo up above. There's also long exposure, in which the moving objects get the blur treatment. Nevertheless, we kept the Pixel 6 in the official Google case throughout testing, and while it doesn’t add much weight, it did make the already generously-sized phone feel bigger – which might be alarming for those who like smaller handsets. What about raw speeds? In the Geekbench 5 single- and multicore CPU tests, the Pixel 6 Pro scored 1,039 and 2,926 respectively, which brings it roughly in line with Google’s performance improvement claims. It’s not quite a match for the Galaxy S21’s Exynos 2100 processor, however, and the iPhone 13’s A15 Bionic chipset still takes the top spot, but where it counts the Pixel 6 Pro is as speedy as you’d ever need it to be.

The Google Pixel 6 represents quite a departure from recent Pixel phone launches. Not only is it unashamedly premium in its design, but it costs the same amount as the Pixel 5 did at launch, is significantly faster and comes with improved cameras and a revamped UI. Of course, general performance is only half the issue when it comes to Google Tensor; the other half is the lightning-fast AI processing for Google Assistant and other Pixel features. Google claimed that the extra on-device AI oomph from Google Tensor would allow it to instantly do complex operations like instantly transcribing and translating videos or having words appear on the screen the moment you say them with Google Assistant voice typing on Gboard. There’s also a 12MP ultra-wide sensor with a 1.25μm pixel width and an f/2.2 aperture. The lens has a 114-degree field of view. Google uses computational photography in conjunction with improved lens elements to minimize distortion. Photos with the Pixel 6 are crisp, with excellent depth of field Fully agree with your statement above. The Pixel 6 photos are very natrual and don't add pop as the Iphone does. When I take photos I look for natrual photos not what someone thinks potos should look like

The value flagship that could.

Comparing the Google Tensor processor with the popular Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 mobile platform is difficult. Google created the Tensor SoC to realize experiences for Pixel devices that would otherwise be impossible or cumbersome. Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888,on the other hand, was developed as a turnkey solution for smartphone manufacturers; it provides plenty of power, but the manufacturer has to figure out exactly how to create experiences within the limitations of the platform. There are other software improvements in the Pixel 6, too, including a feature that unblurs the face of anyone who moved just as you were taking the shot and the ability to process HDRnet in 4K videos for more vibrant colors. Speaking of color, Google has been working with image experts to improve how skin tones appear in photos shot by its cameras, and the result should be more accurate representation of people of color in your photos. Google Pixel 6 review: Performance Google's new Pixel phones also see other photography improvements thanks to the Tensor chip. A new feature called Face Unblur can put the face of a moving subject in focus, while keeping the blur around the rest of the body, and another camera feature called Motion Mode can add blur into still pictures. Do Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro support 5G? The Pixel 6 can take comfort in how it performed in a real-world test where we use Adobe Premiere Rush to transcode 4K video into 1080p. While the Galaxy S21 and the OnePlus 9 both took a little more than 1 minute to complete the task, the Pixel 6 finished the job in 49 seconds. It's not the 26-second result the iPhone 13 produced, but it's one of the better times we've seen from an Android phone.

The company is again focusing its efforts on strengthening the Pixel’s camera capabilities. The rear camera is now a 50MP affair (up from 12.2MP), complemented by a 12MP ultrawide unit and a 12MP selfie snapper on the front. The camera’s new “Magic Eraser” tool now allows you to remove objects and people from the image just by circling them in the edit, too. As for the selfie camera, Google's new phone has a hole-punch-style front-facing camera with 11 megapixels on the Pixel 6 Pro and 8 megapixels on the standard Pixel 6. The earliest rumors about the Pixel 6's camera setup included speculation that Google might upgrade to an under-display selfie camera, but that's not on the Pixel 6. Since this rumor is based on a patent filed by Google that appeared not to have a visible front camera, however, it's possible another phone will include it. Perhaps the Pixel 7?The main camera on the Pixel 6 has a 50MP sensor while the ultrawide angle camera is still 12MP with a 114-degree field of view photos not as vivid but realistic. The iPhone photos look more like magazine photos. Also, I don't like spending time comparing an iPhone to an Android. I don't like iPhones OS and proprietary behavior, so it's not an option for me. It would have been interesting to see it with photos next to a Samsung s21, or a Motorola edge. The best thing I've noticed about the pixel 6 is that it has tremendous light adjustment. My eyes have a very difficult time adjusting to different lighting. For example, if I looked at my Samsung S10 at 3 a.m. I would not be able to read it in the dark for at least 5 minutes. No problem with the auto settings excetera on the pixel 6 :-)
