So basically, all Kino Lorber is doing is just getting the files from NBC/Universal and putting them out on Blu-rau.

Includes the 1968 Movie-of-the-Week “Prescription: Murder” and the 1971 Pilot “Ransom for a Dead Man” McGoohan always sort of freaked me out. He's great but he's got this really odd energy about him. My favorite epsiode with him is probably "Identity Crisis" which is one of the oddest episodes of the original run in a way. These are the people (minority) that made Criterion stop giving us both discs, like all major companies did. I wanted to give my Mother, one of her favorites- ‘Bitter Rice’, on dvd & I keep the blu ray. These people are stopping blu ray & 4k from taking off, permanently. Storage for these two, would mean less discs. The new Bonanza on dvd only, has 112 discs. Someone who’s more inclined can tell us how many blu rays & 4ks they would take. Includes the 1968 Movie-of-the-Week "Prescription: Murder" and the 1971 Pilot "Ransom for a Dead Man" Due to unforeseen issues, we can no longer include all the new audio commentaries, essay and other extras we had produced for our upcoming Columbo: 1970s boxed set.”The Bye-Bye Sky High IQ Murder Case is a great one too! I love the whole mechanism of the book and the record player. What a moment in time that such things were readily available. It's such a different world now. According to Frank Tarzi, VP of Acquisitions at Kino Lorber, there are two Columbo boxsets in the works: one featuring the ‘classic era’ 1968-78 episodes; and the second containing the 1989-2003 revival episodes. The classic episodes are set to be released in late summer, with the ‘new Columbo‘ set following in late 2023 or early 2024. PF: I’d like to understand why COOP is the number one in Italy.
