About this deal

And while we’re at it, our paragraph wouldn’t be complete without mention of the brilliant Michael Shannon. Other standouts in terms of clarity and detail include the fine ribs in Superman’s alien suit, the intricacies of the Krypton sets and costumes employed, the individual grains of snow in the Arctic and even the flaking paint chips on the Clark’s Kansas farmhouse. The new Flash movie is out in June and I always liked Michael Shannon's scenery-chewing performance as Zod. Although I wouldn't qualify it as a night and day difference, the UHD is nonetheless an upgrade thanks to a great-looking HEVC H.

As far as the history books go I assume we can all skip on by past the Siegel’s family threat to Warner Bros. Portuguese, French, Spanish, Czech, English ADS (UK), German, Polish (VO), Russian, Turkish, Italian. Now as I mentioned before, Man of Steel is a complete reboot of the Superman film series, which puts a slightly new take on the character’s origin story. Director Zack Snyder brings his usual bombastic flair but manages to deliver the sort of comic book adaptation fans love to watch and will hopefully serve as the beginning of a new franchise. Best moments are the extreme wide shots of sunsets and sunrises, displaying a demo-worthy array of fiery oranges and golden yellows mixed with radiant magentas and glowing purples.

While I’m sure it’s much to everyone’s surprise that there’s no reference at all to William’s iconic “Superman March,” that’s not necessary a bad thing…it’s a good thing. New Zealand: Home of Middle-Earth (HD, 7 min) — A promo piece for Peter Jackson's 'The Hobbit' and has absolutely nothing to do with the Superman mythos or this particular reboot. With marvelous, convincing off-screen sounds, the dynamic design is full of warmth and fidelity, peaking into the upper frequencies with room-penetrating clarity while maintaining superb distinction and intelligibility in the dialogue. They do a great job at making you feel what Clark feels as an alien outcast and puts a “real world spin” (I’m sure you are sick of hearing me say that over and over) on the DC Comics universe, something I hope they continue with. Release date does not indicate dispatch date, as many of our items are sent via a forwarding company from each country.

Krypton Decoded-Dylan Sprayberry (Clark Kent, age 13), gives the lowdown on all the amazing Kryptonian tech, weapons and spaceships featured in Man of Steel. The regrettable effects of that are some negligible hints of aliasing along the sharpest edges of buildings, thin structures and a top computer monitors. The low-end is responsive with a decently authoritative punch that reverberates through the room, adding some weight to the action and music. The steelbook is awful with Superman's top of the head cut off as if Hannibal Lecter had done a number on him.New Zealand: Home of Middle Earth (Legal Restriction - See Notes)-Required on all feature discs including Rental and Retail Exclusives that have the feature on it.
