Resting side by side juniperberry and papyrus wood bring tension and contrast that extends throughout the fragrance. Whilst I’m obsessed with the scent still, I’m spraying a lot of the EDP on, and finding I’m reapplying throughout the day. I love this but it’s definitely closer to Ariana Grande God is a Woman than it is to BR540 or Cloud.
com video I decided to give Sunset Riot a try and I am absolutely head over heels with this fragrance. The fragrance opened up with a blast of alcohol, eventually that subsided and I could smell the fragrance which was extremely weak and lacklustre, barely any projection and within 30 minutes what smell there was had disappeared. Alt Fragrances Crystal Intense No 32 is a clone of MFK Baccarat Rough 540 Extrait; Alt Fragrances Crystal No 23 is a clone of MFK Baccarat Rouge 540 EDP; Bond No 9 Greenwich Village EDP is a fantastic, very sweet gourmand vanilla, praline, musk, ambroxan, white floral peony, water lily, jasmine, and litchi fragrance; Dua Fragrances Casino Royale Nights is a clone of MFK Baccarat Rough 540 Extrait; MFK Baccarat Rouge 540 EDP is a very sweet, resinous, woody, floral, and musky; MFK Baccarat Rough 540 Extrait is a sweet ambery, almond, musky, woody, and spicy fragrance; AllSaints Sunset Riot is a very sweet, amber, orange blossom, and pink pepper fragrance.Heck, whilst I’m complaining might as well mention the bottle which you have to hold a certain way to avoid the sharp corners digging into your palm. I do want to point out that contrary to what Alanitoo said in his review near the bottom, Allsaints is most definitely NOT cruelty free. I blind bought this online from Nordstrom, and looking at the notes, I thought this would quickly become a favorite. To me, it smells like BR540 extrait got together with By the Fireplace, but created a blend that is quieter and softer than either one of them on their own.
It works in all seasons at any time of day but I’d say it hits the sweet spot as a warm weather fragrance for daytimes. While this fragrance is by no means especially manly, I could imagine that some guys who found BR540 too feminine and candy-ish might like these additions. I plan on wearing this during the day, and topping it up with Montale sensual instinct in the evenings. I don’t care for the sillage in this one because I like the idea of it being moderate/intimate for when he’s close to me.After a few hours of spraying my jacket to test my theory, I could smell my jacket from 3 ft away and caught whiffs of it here and there. They use leather, wool and other animal skins for their clothing and I could find nothing stating their fragrances are CF. At first sniff I got the fresh citrus and musk in this fragrance and could not for the life of me figure out why this was being compared to BR540.

The lasting power isn’t great and smells very like Zara Red Temptation, slightly less sweet and with a slightly peppery kick.
