But as the week progresses, she can’t help falling for him, which may cost her not only the game, but also her heart. i also really like how the game is a way for merediths family to reconnect, mourn over a loss, welcome new members, and learn how to live again. Walther bottled up summer, used a water gun to spritz/soak each page with it, and then finally let it dry onto the pages of her book!at first they were just kinda teammates in the assasin game and were just “messing” around with each other, but then the feelings appeared and bluh bluh bluh. okay it could be okay if she was the initiator of the break up, but BEN broke up with her and she was the one who didn’t want to. They form a sort-of alliance to help one another with the game, but the more time she spends with him, the faster she’s falling under his spell. I wasn’t clinging to him; it was more like we were tangled together, an invisible string connecting us.
