About this deal

I enjoyed it so much I'm starting the 2nd book immediately which I haven't done with any series in a while.

I found myself having to reread sections because with the first pass I’d somehow “miss something” and when that something was elaborated on I had to go back and reread the section to infer that “something” more clearly in the second pass.

Recently I have struggled to find some books that have great plot as well as being well written and this both.

So I've been in a book slump for The last month and I happened to come across this author's tiktok And read the blurb and I sat on the book for a few weeks until I saw another TikTok And decided to take the plunge because I noticed that the last book comes out soon So by the time I finish Reading needs the last one will be out. I have to mention that I seriously felt like I had missed an introduction book for this series because SO MUCH of the worldbuilding just isn't explained. wow, la verdad es que es de esas historias que te atrapan bien fuerte desde el primer capítulo; tal vez por sus personajes tan geniales, por la chispa que surge entre Elise y Legion, o por todo el misterio que rodea a este misterioso caballero.

It is obvious to her that the MMC is hiding something, as he has such liberal views and doesn’t conform to fit in with other.

In addition to the strange fascination with war, Elise is portrayed as being somehow better than her fellow Timorans for believing that Ettans should be equal.

While there are already indications, the heroine nor the reader knows the extent of the hero's hidden agenda until over halfway into the book, so I hate how much the blurb gives it away. the way the story progresses kept me very engaged as a reader, which is what i want from this common type of fantasy book. The white saviour trope, for reference, is where a white character steps in to rescue non-white characters from their problems. I am very convinced that the author did not have an editor especially seeing how quickly these books have been released, so clearly no editor has looked at any of these and you can see it in the writing to there’s plenty of mistakes. This review is one BIG spoiler, so if you do want to read this book, maybe stop reading now (Quick !

This series will be 9-10 books with four different couples, but characters will be interconnected throughout the entire series.

In true Game of Thrones fashion, the potential for character building and plot and world building was there. I adore books like An Ember in the Ashes, The Night Angel Trilogy, Harry Potter, The Great Library series.
