The patterns are lovely but the blue/yellow line which featured in smaller sizes doesn't come on these ones. Size 1 and 2 were great and then size 4 up great again but don’t know what happens with their size 3 nappies!

It features a cute and unisex animal design with the front and back of the nappy easily identified by the drawing of the animal. For me, this isn't a huge issue, as I always give him a fresh vest and clothes after his first nappy change each morning, and I rarely expect any nappy to be much good after over 12 hours anyhow, Aldi promises UP TO 12 HOURS protection, and I'd say that promise is delivered with these nappies. The nappies have a cute design and are clearly marked with the size which is handy if you have multiple children in different size nappies. My daughter sleeps soundly through the night without having to be changed and on the odd occasion she decides to habe a lie in they still keep her dry and comfortable! My LO is just coming out of size 2 nappies, we mainly use Aldi's range as they've been great and obviously one of the cheapest around.With 2 young children and being on maternity leave, the cost of things is obviously very important to me, but I would be foolish to pay more for other brands when this one performs just as well as them, if not better than some. The outside of the Aldi nappy has a slightly more papery texture than the softer almost fabric-like outer of the Pampers nappies we are used to using but again, this doesn't seem to trouble Bert at all.

I don't know why it does this but I just try and change him before he "needs " changing to help eliminate this happening too often, bit harder at night time or car journeys though. They are very cute and however, as they are so bright you can see them through the clothes pretty much all the time. I'm used to the odd leak here and there, even with our usual nappy brand, so the Aldi Mamia range seem to stack up pretty well!
