I have multiple Chromebooks, using a mouse consistently with my ASUS C5 (original 15″) and new Chromebase. I don't see this being a drawback unless you plan to connect an external display, since the Flex 3’s screen isn't really large enough to accommodate that many tabs comfortably in any case. Plus, with 128GB of SSD storage, it's quick and easy to load your music, photos, documents and anything else you need.

S., the Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 3 Chromebook will be available with a higher-performing Celeron Silver N6000. All told, it’s a pretty unimpressive technical line up that represents a bottom-rung Intel-powered solution. Seriously, I could see myself leave behind the heavier Acer Chromebook Spin 714 and take this Lenovo Chromebook with me on vacation next month. That should get you through a day of occasional browsing, but it's on the low end for a modern Chromebook.

In all of these benchmarks, the Flex 3 came in significantly behind the more expensive and more powerful Acer, roughly equal with its non-Flex cousin, and comfortably ahead of the Chromebook Duet (which has an especially pokey Mediatek ARM processor). Unless you have the same reliance or tend to use multiple Android apps at the same time as the browser, 4 GB of memory is just about sufficient.
