About this deal

I don't really enjoy self help books but if you're into that sort of thing and enjoy sports anecdotes this is for you.

All things you’d have covered in an undergrad business degree, but perhaps could have lost sight of in the real world. The summary page at the end of each chapter is really helpful for referring back to key themes in the future.

Full of valuable principles with real-world relevance to people's everyday lives' Toto Wolff'So many different lessons from so many remarkable people' Adam Peaty Drawing on conversations with.

One thing that I loved about this book is that thought they regularly give references to their podcast, but more importantly other quotations and case studies outside of their own podcast. As someone who reads about 50-60 books a year, mostly on success, autobiographies, psychology, business and mindset (I'm boring, an accountant, a CFO actually with 50 investment properties so think it's working).

In the first short sitting my mum asked how many copies I'd bought, as everyone needs one as their guide on how to live life. And they draw on cutting-edge psychology to explain why these methods have such a transformative impact. Drawing on interviews with: Robin Van Persie | Tom Daley | Osi Umenyiora | Eddie Jones | Siya Kolisi | Dilbagh Gill | Ole Gunner Solskjaer | Matthew McConaughey | Lily Cole | Rio Ferdinand | Steven Gerrard | Jo Malone | Sir Chris Hoy | Kelly Jones | Frank Lampard | Ant Middleton | Phil Neville | Ben Ainslie | Kelly Holmes | Nims Purja | Mauricio Pochettino | Jonny Wilkinson | Clive Woodward | and many more . Jake and I met in F1, and he has always had a perspective that looked beyond the blinkers of motor-racing. It will show you how to build a high performance culture that spreads beyond your actions into those of the whole team.

This is the second book based on a podcast that I’ve read, and on this evidence it will be the last (the other one was “Talking Sopranos”). I really enjoyed this book at first, and highlighted many important lessons and constructive ideas I could implement.

The High Performance book was an enjoyable, inspirational book that does it’s best to inspire its readers. He has spoken to audiences worldwide, sharing his insights and wisdom with business leaders, entrepreneurs, and students. The book is full of amazing coaching guidance and inspiring stories as means to better yourself in what ever circumstances that you are in, e. Currently the lead Premier League football presenter on BT Sport, Jake previously spent over a decade at the BBC - covering Formula 1, the FIFA World Cup, the London Olympics and BBC Sports Personality of the Year, as well as becoming the youngest ever presenter of Match of the Day .
