Alexander is full of riddles and mystery and I loved the author did not rush into the heroes past and give things away. I was seeing a lot of these similarities from the beginning towards the 60% point, but after that I saw some originality. That didn’t really work for me especially as he would demand it from her, and trust cannot be forced, it is earned over time. It has been recognized for various awards and bestseller lists, including USA Today and the Readers' Favorite 2017 Gold Medal in Romance, and has since been translated into multiple languages internationally. The more I read the more I found I was drawn to the plot, the characters and Dakota willink’s writing!

Alex is a good guy that helps so many different people as a reader I am glad I didn't see his eyes because I fell in love with him.

There is a developing story which made me warm to the main characters immediately and with their connection came a special story which underpinned the essence of the book. Her quick wit and firecracker attitude was the complete opposite of what he wanted in a woman, and his instincts failed him at every turn.So let me get into this, Heart of Stone is and should be a great and perfect starter book for anyone who's just starting out in the BDSM world of literature. Neither of them knowing how to trust or be honest about their pasts make it impossible to move beyond the pain that hold each of them in its grip. Every once in awhile you take a chance on a new author and that author goes on to show why we should never dismiss people stepping into the world of writing.

Though worlds apart they have a undying connection to one another and while leading a different lifestyle they manage to fulfil each one as their own addiction. But the shadows of my past haunted me, making me afraid to explore the possibilities I could never before have imagined.Book one concentrates on how their romantic relationship evolves, from the moment they meet until they reveal their almost all their deepest and darkest secrets. I say I hated it because I wanted the characters to have a different ending than this one, but I'll take it!
