Insgesamt konnte mich Aisling Fowler hat mit ihrem Fantasyroman „Feuerblut – Die Reise zum Frostpalast“ eine gelungene Fortsetzung geschrieben, welcher sich nicht hinter dem Vorgänger verstecken muss. Diese hat mir schon im ersten Band gefallen und auch in „Die Reise zum Forstpalast“ war sie mir sympathisch. En este libro los personajes han evolucionado bastante, teniendo un buen desarrollo a lo largo de la trama. I really miss the character dynamics that felt so fresh but now feel shoved out of the main focus of the plot. Thereafter, the witches’ magical home has been infiltrated by a Shadowseam that grows and seeks to overwhelm everything in its surrounds. We have the usual heroes and monsters and a mission with dire consequences, but what really struck me throughout was, despite remaining age appropriate, this didn't feel like a kids book.The novel follows Twelve, who has become a hunter and chosen a new name to reflect her element power-phoenix.
