About this deal
Coffee is brewed by first folding the paper filter into shape by using the folded side with a printed number 3, where the pour spout is located and placing it into the neck of the flask. Pour the remaining water in three batches of 120g (for 3 Cup Chemex) 240g (for 6 Cup Chemex) using a circular motion, until you’ve poured a total of 400g (for 3 Cup Chemex) 800g (for 6 Cup Chemex) including the bloom. The classic carafe makes a clean cup of coffee with far less sediment than any other brewing method . They mention it's a great product for producing great tasting coffee, it makes much better coffee than the v60 they had been using, and it makes a fine cup of coffee.
Earlier this year, our Quality Control Coordinator travelled to Nicaragua on a sourcing trip to meet our Direct Trade partners, the Mierisch Family. The Chemex and Hario V60 are both considered pour over coffee makers , meaning they require you to manually pour hot water over ground coffee and through a paper filter. Next — the best part — let the coffee “bloom,” a process that saturates the grounds and doubles the weight of your coffee.
They also appreciate the quality and durability of the product, saying that it looks like it might be pretty durable. The single glass piece doesn't just look elegant, it also brews coffee without imparting any flavours of its own, creating clear, pure, flavourful coffee without bitterness or sediment. International products have separate terms, are sold from abroad and may differ from local products, including fit, age ratings, and language of product, labeling or instructions. The warranty becomes void if repairs are attempted or carried out by third parties who are not authorized by the manufacturer and/or if replacement parts other than the genuine Chemex parts are used. Most Chemex carafes are dishwasher-safe, though we personally don’t recommend putting them in the dishwasher.
