About this deal

Boil them after soaking and washing, I think… You’ll probably only be able to fit a few nappies in at a time so you will need tongs to drop the boiled nappies into your freshly cleaned sink before adding the next batch, and don’t forget to use an oven glove to protect your hand. The cleanser is fine when it hasn't leaked and I can't tell the difference between that and dettol cleanser. One reason I suspect that washing clothing it’s different to hand washing is that when your wash your hands properly you are rubbing thoroughly covering all surfaces. A washing machine obviously cannot do this and depending on the load in the machine you will likely also get variable “cleanliness”.

I don’t want to add super-chemicals to my laundry anymore, but you didn’t answer my other question: do you think that washing at low temperatures is enough for an hygienic cleaning because even if washing at 60 degrees (the temperature that kills bacteria and germs) we will get our towels exposed to bacteria and germs as soon as they are again out of the machine? Because if you don’t, your towels will be covered in tiny particles of whatever it was that went int the bowl – urine, faeces, even vomit. A couple of folk have contacted me to say that in the light of Covid-19, Antibacterial laundry IS necessary after all – but I’m relieved to say this is not the case. As this enchanting scent develops, it reveals a captivating heart of exquisite rose, jasmine, lilac, and mimosa. However to answer your question it is common advice that to kill germs you should wash at a high temperature on your washing machine. Can dettol laundry sanitiser cause water blisters as an allergic reaction when sheets and nightie washed in it by my well meaning carer? That’s not so surprising, as it started its life in hospitals where it was used in surgical procedures to clean cuts, wounds etc. I’ve got enormously sensitive skin that reacts horribly to stuff, so for that very reason I wouldn’t use it even if I thought it might be extra super clean.

Laundry disinfectant * without bleach TP2: Disinfectants and algaecides not intended to be applied directly to humans. and more When you wash at temperatures below 60C, bacteria can survive, and can be transmitted between garments in the wash. The problem with killing all the bacteria on your laundry – whether it’s towels, underpants or anything else – is that the minute you take them out of the machine, they start to acquire other bacteria, the kind of bacteria that are in the air anyhow. Contains Quaternary ammonium compounds, di-C 8-10-alkyldimethyl, chlorides / Quaternary ammonium compounds, benzyl-C12-18-alkyldimethyl, chlorides. Another reason i think the scenarios are different is the texture of your skin is very different to clothing which is obviously absorbent, whereas skin is a waterproof layer intended to protect us.Thanks to this marketing-led paranoia that we will all die in five minutes time unless we sterilise everything with wet-wipes, we are sinking in a carpet of the bloody things. I myself have bought this in the past, with the idea that I may be killing off such unwanted germs when washing kids clothes and bedding. I just had to say this because I see for some reason a lot of people have given it a low star rating.
