The composition opens with Sicilian Clementine, Tangelo Fruit and Mexican Tangerine blending with aromatic Thyme, Spanish Marjoram and Greek Lavender. This unfolds into inviting heart notes with a mix of ginger root and hints of North African orange tree blossom.

This is an often overlooked gem due to it's extremely weak projection and longevity, but if you look hard enough, the complexity of this frag somewhat makes up for the weaknesses. it is a heavy scent if smelled too close but its not harsh, you can dig your nose into it and you wouldnt have a problem, no one would especially in my experience.im not crazy about them but i just bought them as i got into fragrances but after i bought artisan i've pretty much been only wearing this everywhere but do switch it up because i have some others in my collection. I wouldn't pay retail, but on sale or discounted, I say grab a bottle and take care of yourself while at home alone. Here, over-applying makes the ambroxan and fake woods become super sharp and abrasive, just like when they get intentionally overdosed in a modern "banger", which takes a perfume I might have been indifferent about due to middling performance and turns it into something I absolutely hate. If the folks at JV had gotten around these two issues, then we would have a veritable classic in our midst.

Mostly, what I get in the middle and base is a soapiness, which makes me think I forgot to rinse my hands after washing.

Like others have said, it just doesn't last very long but that's okay for me as I don't want to smell myself all day long. Performance is moderate with me getting about 3-4 hours of noticeably scent which isn’t a problem if you reapply with an atomizer.
