After the son or daughter is found to have been competent enough to continue, they are given a black ring, signifying they can control magic. Groosham Grange is a 1988 fantasy novel by English author Anthony Horowitz and the first novel in the Groosham Grange series.

I especially love the typical British humour, like the really awful parents (a bit like the adults in Roald Dahl's books), especially the father who is a real bully and the mother who is just as awful, but this is what makes the book so hilarious. Es un libro para niños, sobre una escuela especial, para niños especiales y sí, fue antes de Harry Potter. Kilgraw, the vampire speaking to David to convince him to join them in their witch coven school: "All right, I admit it.

Por ejemplo, la idea de una escuela mágica, o bien que aparezcan tres niños como protagonistas (dos niños y una niña). As the three children are talking about their new boarding school, a vicar enters their compartment.Me divertí mucho leyendo este libro, cuenta con un humor bastante peculiar: es sarcástico y absurdo muy adecuado para el público al cual esta dirigido. and later the French Prix Européen du Roman Pour Enfants ("European Award for Children's Fiction") in 1993. David gets expelled from his school and he is a disappointment for his crazy and old-fashioned parents. Eventually, David and Jill begin to suspect that the students at the school aren’t even using their names, and that their teachers are a monster of some kind, be it a werewolf, a vampire, a mummy and a ghost.
