This 4K release is probably the third time I’ve seen FRIGHT NIGHT and it still doesn’t hit me like it does other horror fans. This is symbolic of the fact that Jerry Dandridge will be the entryway for both Charley and Amy’s introductions to adult sexual life.Both Fright Night and The Lost Boys also re-popularized the idea that a vampire can only come into a house if invited, that crucifixes only protect their possessor if they truly believe in them, and that a vampire’s appetite isn’t strictly relegated to blood.
