Angel was a favourite of mine in the 90s but my nose must have changed because I no longer care for the honey note. What sold me on this is the lovely wafts of the fragrance that I’m getting while wearing it throughout the day. This reminds me of walking through the isles of Superdrug in Oxford Street after a long day: sticky and loud pop music - annoyingly sweet.Now it’s a warmer, softer, slightly spicier cashmere blanket of a scent, sweetened by almond, pistachio, and tonka bean. It smells sweet out the bottle but once it's on the skin it smells like burnt pistachio and almonds. The fragrance is versatile and can be worn during the day to uplift your spirits and radiate positivity. What you should be careful with and obviously here is where bad reviews are coming from: The bottle doesn't protect that much the perfume. This uplifting sweet scent inspires good vibrations with a composition of deliciously fresh and fruity notes.

I enjoy Shine but thought I would like a creamier, heavier version of it for the winter months - so I bought the original. Like another review said, "sweet fragrance of YSL Black Opium type" I think this is very accurate, and may be why I really enjoyed it. The Pear is sweet, feels juicy and fresh, fruity and a bit brighter than the previously quoted notes.Back then, I felt a bit disappointed, as I didn’t like it very much and thought it smelled a bit like baby wipes. The bottle is adorned with a new green anise flower design at its neck combined with a delicate and feminine coral pink juice. The precious glass bottle of Girl of Now Shine is adorned by a shimmering velvety gold flower at the top. Because of the sweetness, in combination with the nuttiness and creaminess, the perfume is sexy, intoxicating, and edible, but also very elegant, wholesome and cozy. It contains notes of raspberry, almond, vanilla, lemon peel, rose, back currant, orange blossom, cashmeran, musk and patchouli.

Girl of Now starts off very nutty, and then the usual designer white florals become more noticeable as it dries down. It smells like other fragrances, but imo this is the best one, because it is not too much of any one thing. The fragrance unfolds with the zesty combination of lemon peel and raspberry, leading to a heart that harmonizes blackcurrant, roses, almonds, and orange blossom. Forever is a heavier version of the OG, but the OG has patchouli, which to me helps brighten up the heaviness.I find YSL lasts longer too (and has more lavendar) but Elie Saab GoN is a slightly nuttier sweeter version of Libre Intense. After the first hour, the sweetness starts to come in, but based on all the reviews I was expecting to be overwhelmed by a too-sweet gourmand. It makes me feel like that girl with the contagious laughter, who always has really clean and shiny hair. This fragrance culminates in a sensual, woody base of Patchouli and Cashmeran with additional Almond notes.
