About this deal

There's a lot of mind bending stuff going on, which is perfectly fitting for the Thousand Sons, and Magnus in particular.

It’s just under 1000 points so you’ve got points to grow for a full army from this strong foundation. The story itself is relatively fast paced, with even the "slower" scene capturing your attention due to everything that's going on in them. Without giving away too much of the plot, the story follows three main arcs, Ahriman's, Amon's, and Promus', an ex-Ultramarine librarian now working for Malcador. When last we left them they were broken by the Space Wolves and left licking their wounds on the Planet of the Sorcerers, their new home within the warp.you'd need the Rubics to balance out the Tzaangors (Im personally a fan of bird-men, but their not suitable as your ONLY troops), but really, i'd only recommend it if your really keen on Magnus himself, as this gets you him plus a few helpers. Beneath his watchful gaze marches a formidable phalanx of Rubric Marines, arcane automata armed with enchanted weaponry and supported by the eldritch powers of their psychic leaders. Full tracking of what you have read so you can skip to your first unread post, easily see what has changed since you last logged in, and easily see what is new at a glance. For every exalted sorcerer you can include a normal sorcerer or normal terminator sorcerer slotless in a detachment.

Since the Heresy has unfolded more we have found most of our attention on Marines vs Marines in somewhat familiar settings, but here we got to explore the strangeness of the galaxy again. The Imperial Fists take a bit of a battering here, being the lowest points force and needing quite a a few extra units to get it to an interesting place. Having reviewed the 40k battleforce value there’s definitely something for fans of the armies on offer, but it feels like they’re targeted towards new players, or those that havent’t already got the named characters.

Near Mint condition cards appear 'fresh out of the pack,' with edges and surfaces virtually free from all flaws. Now Magnus is a supreme commander and a primarch, in a non- CP size game you can slot him in a supreme commander detachment which is not only free (no cp cost! Besides just being a great character who's wholly unique for the Thousand Sons, he comes across more as an Iron Warrior, it also helps connect the universe more.

This boxed set contains a supremely powerful daemonic Primarch, leading a trio of Exalted Sorcerers. I imagine there is a short story somewhere that I missed that throws his lot in with the Thousands Sons, but he was a welcome addition anyway. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints. I would definitely recommend you read A Thousand Sons before this, otherwise a lot of it will be lost on you, besides that one book, there aren't any others that are "required" reading. The big set piece at the Sisters of Silence prison where they first run into their prey is pretty exceptionally awesome. This set includes the following multipart plastic models:- 1x Mortarion, Daemon Primarch of Nurgle- 5x Blightlord Terminators- 14x Plague MarinesAll models are supplied with their appropriate bases. Coming in just under 1300 points it’s a powerful force and far an away the highest points value battle force box this year, and it wouldn’t take much to round it out to a real problem of an army. Amon, one of Magnus closest confidants besides Ahriman, has been taking care of his liege in the Head Librarian's absence and acts as a self appointed gatekeeper to their Primarch.
