Use your special powers once per game to COPY a friend’s answer, cause some havoc with a SWAP or go for DOUBLE points if you’re feeling bold. Once you get the hang of it you can introduce other elements and there are other variants of the game explained in the instructions. Now like most people, I don’t know the exact answer to this, but I could give it a well educated guess, and that is precisely how the game is played!If we do like the rules suggest and only reward the two smallest answers, we do eliminate the enormous range issue, but make losing feel even worse. It was a bit grown up for the 6 year old but as part of a team he could contribute and had as good a time as the grown ups. I can only imagine how bad this game gets as an actual party game with teams of people instead of individuals, since the way this game is played will inevitably lead to one alpha player essentially running the team, leaving everyone else to just sit and think of all the actually fun things they could be doing instead. We usually get together at Christmas to play board games but last Christmas was not your usual Christmas and because of shielding and isolating we couldn’t do this so it was really lovely to get together in the garden on a summer afternoon to play a game togethe. For example one question is the worlds first speeding ticket was issued to a motorist driving at what speed?The problem here is that, in my experience, someone will almost always have an incorrect range trying to go for the three point smallest reward, meaning that the best way to play is to put an absurdly large range because you won’t get hit by the largest range penalty. The box contains 200 hundred question cards, 6 dry-wipe pens, 6 dry-wipe answer boards, 1 dry-wipe scoreboard and 1 dry-wipe scribble board. The last one gives rules for a two-player game, but after playing the game as it was designed, I’d rather sprint naked through a briar patch than play a tacked-on two player variant. The only drawback with games like this, is that after several games, players will start to learn the answers to the questions, but there are more than enough for many game sessions. We bought this for our traditional Boxing Day games day after we saw a demo of it while on holiday in Cardiff.
