An hour into wear, Interlude begins to smell like the ashes of high grade incense; and smoky red embers glowing beneath.But this is good too, I enjoy both and like the lack of iris in OG interlude because I am now nauseated by iris notes after I spilled a decant of Meander in my car and that fragrance is way too buttery. If you ever wondered how an arabian king in his scented candle filled palace would smell like- interlude.

is't unique and doesn't seem other fragrance, It's enough strong in sillage (not a monster) adn has a gooh persistence, For sure a man's fragnrance, i cant see these on a woman. I just don't know, but it's one of the only perfumes I have that I can happily wear for days on end (sometimes not by choice if it gets on my coat for example! I applaud the bravery shown by Christopher Chong when he was the Creative Director at Amouage, back when the house was releasing so many innovative (and sure, polarising) fragrances. In my not so humble opinion, it is the discordant notes which make Interlude Man a stellar fragrance. There is a certain charred spice quality mixed with leathery facets really pushed forward because of how smooth and sweet balsamic ambery the backdrop is.
