I’m still deciding if I love this one or not just based on my particular tastes but I recommend trying it if you’re intrigued! Midnight Fantasy is a very welcome addition to my collection and I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone. Dark yet not cloying or heavy to me, well blended, has a quirky semi sweet camphorous vibe that makes you imagine a witch’s brew or an alchemy lab or something without being harsh or strange in an unpleasant way. I smell the slightly sour scent of berries, maybe Plum, Cherry, or some berries like Raspberry, Mulberry,.

Midnight Fantasy has incredibly prominent fruity, candy notes that feel reminiscent of a Bath and Body Works fragrance. The scent opens with top notes of black cherry, framboise and plum, middle notes are night blooming orchid, iris and freesia. I wish I could get the individual plum, cherry, and raspberry notes but my nose can't pick them out.I get dark raspberry and cherry notes at first with a sweet candy vibe, the amber and musk are there but you really have to look for it, kind of a top heavy scent. It's like nostalgia in a bottle: imagine a 14 year old boy smelling his crush's abandoned jean jacket after a football game. To me, it's not all just fruits, there's something bright in it that stops it from being boring and banal. It initially starts out with a very clear plum accord, and I think it's easily the most notable facet.

However, this is definitely an all day and night approprite perfume, as long as you enjoy the sweet and fresh smell. It's also very well blended and just as iconic, important, and impressionable as the the OG Fantasy. One of my very first perfumes in middle school so it carries a lot of nostalgia for me more than anything.

I often find myself reaching for this just before bed, spending a day in the house or just wanting to feel cosy. I happen to love it and my husband goes nuts when i wear it, way more than more expensive, sophisticated scents.

yeah its alright, i think layering would help it smell more dimensional and appealing, but the way the notes present make layering difficult. I think it’s good but nothing special BUT my guy workmate likes it so much and even tho I don’t really go near him he said that he can smell it when i walked past by him. I'm sad to say I had to give it to someone who clearly has a different skin chemistry as it smells lovely on her. This reminds me of my childhood for some reason, I think it's because my aunt who was a teenager when this was first released wore this.
