About this deal

at everyone who passes you on the street, but nonetheless want to smell really nice and make a moderately classy impression when someone is close. At the juste pulvérisé the citrus notes triumph solemnly to give way to the dry to the bright notes of rosemary that remain present throughout the olfactory experience. What a projection hut after sometime and sillage is outstanding like u leave masculine floral kind of fragrance in the way when pass by. Dominating rosemary, juniper, cypress, cedar and patchouli create a special vintage woody smell with a herbally medicinal and chilly touch. This is suppose to evoke a diamond canopy and with the Woody edge this carries, everytime I smell it I think of camp fires, the forest at night, running rivers, vast outback mountain ranges, just pure nature really.

I stick to a 2 to 3 spray max rule with most fragrances as I don't like to "that guy" who smells up the whole room. This Issey Miyake L'eau Bleue D'Issey Pour Homme 75ml EDT is a fragrance that's distinctive and gentle. This is not a beast but you will catch wafts of it constantly throughout the day if you spray at least 4 times per wearing.

this does indeed smell like "old man" its not necessarily a bad smell but it is nearly impossible for a younger person (25 and under) to pull off. My iconic Issey Miyake bottle in an elegant electric blue coloration bears the 9185BM batch code from July 2019. An earthy and fresh fragrance despite the “bleu” factor which luckily doesn’t resemble the repetitive boring blue factor in aquatic fragrances. If you would like something similar in style to other “Bleu” fragrances but overlaid with some beautiful, amazing notes, give Astral a try. It can be overpowering depending on sprays but overall its a very smooth, manly scent with an edge to it.

L'Eau Bleue opens with a sophisticated vegetal note of rosemary, juniper berries and a ton of other green stuff and citric facets. Some of my friends like this frag, but I think the combination of the rosemary, cypress and lemon grass smells awful. I see it in lineage with other Cavallier creations from the early 2000s, the superbly green Theorema Uomo and the impeccably polished Rive Gauche pour Homme. Artisan Pure is the one that smells like 4 star hotel cleaner, not Blu Astral on typical skin (retort to a below comment).

This fragrance smells oddly like a spicerack on a shed in the middle of a forest full of cypress trees during the rain. This is a pleasant 'blue' frag and it kinda smells what you expect it to smell like - fresh spicy citrus sweet and . I don't think that this is for everyone- in an era of gourmand scents, this may come across as more traditionally masculine than some scents that are so popular now.I've decided that the "bleu" in Bleu d'Issey refers to a feeling rather than color, or, in fragrance terms, aquatic (which it certainly is not). Again, easy on trigger with this one, two sprays, one under the shirt and one on the back of the neck and you are good to go. I however would not find the same for the longevity, since two hours parting away I hardly detect any fragrance from this. Maybe the renewed interest into both Aquatics and Fougeres makes L'Eau Bleue d'Issey worth revisiting.

The cypress and rosemary along with the Juniper makes it smell somewhat metallic, cold and resinous almost like turpentine. Very strong and performance beast so don’t overspray unless it’s the colder months and u won’t be inside much. Obviously, These reviewers did not give it the chance it deserves because this scent is some seriously great smelling stuff that lasts all day long! This fragrance is full of manly power and will flawlessly enhance the character of your day, every step you take. Projection/Sillage: DECENT, good 'scent bubble' for about 1-2 hours then turn to a more in-close scent the more it dries. As well as the notes listed in the description here I get a fresh, sweet pungency reminiscent of fresh coriander leaves (cilantro) on top of the coniferous notes. According to my nose is a clearly mediterrranean smell with rosemary and cypress as main notes with the lavender in the background. And when i say mainstream freshness you probably thought it was going to be bergamot but noooo its lime because it should have that crazy twist that most of the issey miyakes has. With this one, the devil is in the details : L’Eau Bleue is herbal, aromatic, fresh and a tad medicinal with a cooling effect. Here there is a 'magic formula' that seems that when the fragrance is used on sunny days, its aroma is activated in a much more perceptible, intense and lasting way.
