About this deal

If you are interested in sewing clothing, this is a book that I would definitely recommend that you read and keep handy on your shelf as a valued reference book. There are a multitude of both natural and synthetic fibers covered here, even some odd ones you wouldn't expect.

All in all, a great reference book that I know I will use time and time again, will save me many future headaches, make purchasing fabric online so much easier and will add much diversity to my future home sewn wardrobe. A bestseller for over 10 years, Fabric for Fashion: The Swatchbook is a unique resource with 125 swatches of the most recognized and widely used varieties of fabric to encourage consideration of not just their aesthetic appeal but also their structure, feel and weight. This second edition of Fabric for Fashion offers refreshed information on sustainability and smart fabrics. Normally I don’t worry too much about aesthetics when it comes to technical books but this one has a difference that I appreciate.
