i don't know how i made it this far without mentioning that sophie has green eyes because i was certainly not allowed to forget. But Liam kept on trying and flirting with her, which led to a hot phone sex moment to Liam finally convincing Sophie and becoming friends with benefits. I adored the dates that Liam planned for her while helping her check off her list (my favorites were that he took her skydiving and to see the stars).

Once I picked it up, I was giving myself the worst talking to for waiting so long to start this book. And after having a taste of freedom and passion, Sophie is left torn between her father’s dreams for her and own desires. Sophie has lived a rather sheltered and restrained life, doing what makes her dad happy, after her mother left when she was young. Liam’s backstory may come across as the typical “I’ve been hurt before” ordeal, but his type of hurt is something that not too many people compare their hurt and emotions to. Truthfully, it's just disappointing because as I stated in my Throttled review, this series has a lot of hype and really only good things being said about it. so don't even try to think that sophie will eat salad (forgive me for saying such forbidden words) because pasta exists.it's her personality trait at this point, so if you wear funny, cute, hilarious graphic tees, you are unoriginal, you can never be sophie (walking pasta).
