I still really like the overall finish of it, apart from the slightly dark, flaky patches around my dry areas. The foundation is sitting very well with the rest of the makeup, but I’ll check back in later to let you know how it wears.

A foundation such as this one is perfect for dry skin like mine, it does make an older face appear more luminous therefore giving a more youthful appearance. I used it right up onto and under my eyes, where I found that it didn’t sink in to any lines, in fact it kept the area hydrated.

I had also assumed that it would not last long on my skin, because I always find the dewy finish foundations break up easier on my oily T zone, but I think this foundation lasts pretty well. I went all out with shimmering gold eyes, liner, a Sleek highlighter and my favourite NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in the shade Cannes. I found so many foundations that I used to wear all the time but had forgotten about, as well as a few that I never really got on with. The light hits it really beautifully, and adds a summery, sun-kissed sheen (don’t worry, it doesn’t look sweaty). But I’ve decided to give an illuminating foundation a go and I treated myself to this one from Collection.UK Beauty Blogger based in Cambridgeshire with a passion for Makeup and Skincare, who believes in looking good no matter what our age is. The first thing you notice when applying it is that it has pretty good coverage, it’s more than medium but quite full.
