As you all probably know by my recent updates I have just got back from a trip to Paris. What a beautiful city! I have been 4 times before but it just never seems too loose its sparkle for me. I am going to try and put together a report of places to visit soon.
I have been watching the beauty brand Guerlain for a while now as they have been doing really interesting things with their stands in the UK and have shown off some really lovely visual merchandising. So you can imagine my delight when we got to Paris and found this pop-up shop dedicated to all things Guerlain. I was in heaven. Unfortunately I wasn’t allowed to take any picture (securities words not mine) I really was so disappointed as it was FULL of amazing ways of merchandising products. Surely the whole point of a pop up shop is to show it off to the world, in my opinion people should be encouraged to take photographs of things they see that are beautiful especially if it could be gone tomorrow. It just happens to be that the things I find beautiful are often the things which for some strange reason staff do not want you to take pictures off. It’s a mystery to me.
Anyway before I get into a rant and write a letter to my PM (or something crazy like that) I hope you have enjoyed these pictures as much as I enjoyed looking around the store and trying the scents on! I particularly love the dispensers filled with flowers and the giant metallic lips!
