About this deal

As the poster child of the hobby (especially the all blue Ultramarines) they need to be accessible, which they are.

If it has 2 of the new upgrade sprues and still cost the same as current combat patrols it's the same value as the current one, more or less. he Dark Angels are a dour brotherhood, characterised by their deep commitment to millennia-old rituals, loyalty, discipline, and self-sufficiency.

If this was a BA box with a new BA sprue instead of DA I'd probably pick it up and build a new fancy squad of intercessors with the new bling even though I have plenty of the basic old starter set guys. None fight with more grim determination than the battle-brothers of the Dark Angels, and their renowned specialised companies – the Deathwing and the Ravenwing – are held in awe by their allies and enemies alike. And for the last 10,000 years since the Horus Heresy, the Dark Angels have become obsessed with eradicating The Fallen and anyone who knows of them. If you love Kroot, this is about as good as you can hope for, with the line getting a total revamp, even including the regular foot troops.

Wondering if there is at least an upgrade sprue in here, since it wouldn't even be good value if there isn't.

According to the rumors, they will really build the line out with a bunch of new Kroot, some form of mounted models, and even a big gun to go along with it!

However, these are pretty old models and could use a rework, and Kill Team is the perfect place to do it! You’ll probably pick up some different leaders to keep your opponent guessing, but the Chaplain looks too cool to sideline for long. It’s still got a little mobility with the faster elements and don’t be afraid to “deepstrike” in those Deathwing Terminators either. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel paints. All we ask is the product still be in its original packaging and you have your proof of purchase and we'll be happy to help.On the plus side the Dark Angels look great, rocking dark green armour and cream robes create a distinct look for the chapter. The Dark Angels are the first legion and their Combat Patrol box is actually pretty generic for Space Marines. The main attraction of 40k is the miniatures, but there are also many video games, board games, books, ect. Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group, or our new Discord server, and make sure you enter the latest monthly giveaway for FREE today! all the recent boxes have been pretty light on value, so we wouldn’t be too surprised by an offering like this.

These guys are brick and you can really customize them however you want with lots of options to choose from. When it comes to the Adeptus Astartes, or Space Marines, the Dark Angels are probably the most miserable.

In this series we’re going to revisit the older Combat Patrols, breakdown their points, and talk about where to build from that box. Finally, I want to add something that’s going to give us better chance at cracking open armor at range. Was expected since we already had rumours about the contents but I still thought there might have been some mistake as the Gravis captain can't lead anyone here?
