Always notable for her unique fashions and eclectic personal style, Stefani's fascination with Japanese street fashion and youth culture inspired the Harajuku Lovers fashions and fragrances. Made up with notes of Sparkling Bergamot, Pink Pomelo, Peach, Bamboo Leaf Mist, Water Peony, Lace Rose, Jasmine Sambac, Nectarine, Paperwhites, Egyptian Jasmine, Ylang Ylang, Vanilla Orchis, Musk and Blonde Wood.

The Harajuku Lovers collection, another ode to the Asian culture, all focus on the characters of G, Baby, Lil' Angel, Love and Music. The fragrance collection included five scents and each was housed in a bottle shaped like a doll caricatured to look like Stefani and her four "Harajuku Girls," the Japanese and Japanese American backup dancers she employed and named Love, Angel, Music, and Baby for the promotion of her album.

The lasting power is good yet I do become quite bored wearing this fragrance because it is so linear. Harajuku Lovers fragrances were made in collaboration with perfumers Gil Clavien, Harry Fremont, Steve DeMercado, Christophe Raynaud, Yves Cassar, Pascal Gaurin, Honorine Blanc, Clement Gavarry, Gabriela Chelariu, Carlos Viñals, Ilias Ermenidis, Richard Herpin, Christelle Laprade, Celine Barel, Maurice Roucel and Adriana Medina-Baez.

I suspect jasmine and sweet pea in giving out a subtle, smoky, slightly bitter note which balances out the pear note perfectly, almost turning this pretty scent into a CHYPRE fruity, rather than a floral.Bottle Design: The bottle features a colorful design with a vivid chrome finish, reflecting the playful and vibrant spirit of the collection. to me it evokes winter evening, when you are watching from the warmth of your home life on the street getting all quiet with the falling snow. On my skin, the drydown scent of Music smells like fresh, lush pears and juicy clementines laced with honey suckle and sparkling lemonade.
